Carole Nevin Designs is a business in the textile industry that markets hand-painted table linen, bed linen, kitchen linen, cushion covers and accessories.
Delivery policy
Delivery, ownership and risk 1.1 Ownership of the goods will remain vested in Carole Nevin Designs and will not pass to the Customer notwithstanding delivery of the goods, until the full purchase price (including any finance charges) owing has been paid. Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery of the goods. Unless the contrary is proved, a delivery note shall constitute proof of delivery.
Guarantee 1.2 The Customer must inform Carole Nevin Designs of any breakages of or shortages in the goods by way of a written notice to be received by Carole Nevin Designs within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the goods by the Customer. Failure to do so is an acknowledgement that the goods received by the Customer are complete and in good order.
Extra Charges 1.3 The customer is responsible for the cost of freight (excl. South African customers) and any customs duties that their country of destination might enforce upon them. Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Carole Nevin Designs is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Carole Nevin Designs will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5% administration fee.
Customer privacy policy
Carole Nevin Designs shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, Master Card, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the Carole Nevin Designs bank account, the details of which will be provided on request
Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Carole Nevin Designs by PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate use SSL3 and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to http://www.paygate.co.za/ to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Carole Nevin Designs separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to http://www.paygate.co.za/
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).
Responsibility
Carole Nevin Designs takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Carole Nevin Designs chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
Carole Nevin Designs may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
